Friends

As his priority, there won't be a time where Ivan isn't looking to make friends. He'll choose them as he pleases, even if the other party doesn't feel mutual about it. For the most part, his methods of obtaining friendship are more demanding than anything - he doesn't often give someone a choice about it, nor does he ever really realize when someone doesn't view him the same way that he views them. Friendships are perfect and last forever in his eyes, after all.

Enemies

He finds difficulty viewing anyone as an enemy. Someone might dislike him for his strange and overbearing behavior, but it's very rare that he ever dislikes someone. It all depends on how the first meeting goes. Unless someone manages to really upset or tick him off on first impression, then he'll prefer to overlook the flaws of someone and highlight what makes them a good person. If anything, anyone who messes with his sisters in any way is who he'll immediately decide to dislike. And becoming an enemy of his is probably not a very good idea.

Love

Ivan becomes attached to people pretty quickly. While he won't mind having a female as a friend (provided they don't scare him in some way), he strictly prefers males when it comes to romantic relationships. He's a very affectionate and protective person and will want to spend as much time around his crush or significant other as he possibly can. When he does decide he has a crush on someone, he won't be shy about it and will make sure that the other person picks up on all of his (really obvious) signals.

I want to plot! There's a pretty interesting relationship historically, so I wonder if we can reflect that? Or if not I'd be cool with seeing how they interact in general. uvu/

AUs tend to warp historic relationships anyway, but I think we could try and incorporate their mostly good relations ;v;
Ivan usually has bad luck regarding girls who intimidate him pfff, but he'd still try to get along well.

She might be slightly more welcoming of him though—she knows what it's like to be a new student. She might also see him as someone who's at least somewhat close to her culturally and might be interested in him because of that.
